NS PARTNERS won the best portfolio manager prize in the “Equity – Global Blend” category of the Citywire Switzerland Portfolio Manager and Group Awards 2023. Pierre Mouton, manager of the DGC Stock Selection fund, came out on top of the 5 nominees for his results over the last 3 years.

The awards, which were presented last night by Citywire at its annual event at the Alprausch Fabrik in Zurich, recognise the best fund managers in 11 different categories. The methodology used recognises the Swiss fund manager with the best risk-adjusted return over three years. Only funds registered for public distribution in Switzerland are considered. Citywire analyses the results of 16,500 fund managers in 47 countries.

Pierre Mouton joined NS Partners in 2003. He is responsible for the group’s long only strategies and is a member of the Asset Allocation Committee. He has been managing the Luxembourg DGC – Stock Selection fund since its launch in 2013. Pierre Mouton has over 30 years of experience in the financial industry. After starting his career at AG2R La Mondiale, where he successively managed money market, bond and equity portfolios, he joined Fiduciary Trust in Geneva in 2000 as a portfolio manager. He holds a Master’s degree in finance, actuarial science and portfolio management from SKEMA Business School in Lille (France).

Pierre Mouton, Fund Manager and Head of Long Only Investments, said: “On behalf of NS Partners and my team, I am very honoured to have received this award, which recognises a disciplined investment philosophy that focuses on quality developed market stocks from around the world, combined to form a balanced portfolio. This is especially important to me because the methodology rewards risk-adjusted performance. Indeed, in my view, as a long-term investor, a result must always be assessed in the light of the risks incurred.”
